Hi everyone!
I recently completed a few acrylic paintings on canvas, and I’m thrilled with how they turned out. However, I’m not sure about the best way to seal them to protect the colors and add a nice finish.
I’ve heard about spray varnishes and brush-on sealers, but I’m worried about streaks or the varnish dulling the colors.
Do you have any recommendations for specific brands or techniques to use? Also, should I go for a glossy, matte, or satin finish to make the colors pop without being too reflective?

Would love to hear your tips and experiences!
Thanks in advance!
To seal acrylic paint on canvas effectively, start by ensuring the painting is completely dry, then apply a clear acrylic sealer or varnish using a soft brush or spray. Opt for a glossy, matte, or satin finish based on your desired effect, and apply multiple thin coats for the best protection against dust, UV light, and moisture.
