I’m trying to plan a private boat day in Seychelles for a small group, and I’m mostly stuck on how to choose between all the options. I’ve been comparing different island cruising services and came across Charterclick in Seychelles while looking at different boats and charter options. We’d like enough time to visit a few places without rushing, so I’m leaning toward a full day, but I’m not sure if that’s always worth it. A skipper also sounds useful since none of us has much experience handling a boat. For those who have done something similar, what would you look at first?

I’d look at the group size first, then decide how much time you actually want on the water. Once those two things are clear, the boat type becomes easier to compare. A sailing catamaran can make sense if you want a more relaxed day, while a motor yacht might suit a tighter route with several stops. I’d also check whether a skipper is available before getting too attached to a particular boat, especially if nobody in the group wants to deal with navigation.
