Hi everyone, I’m currently trying to find a reliable oncology surgeon for a family member who may need cancer surgery soon, and I honestly don’t know where to start. There are so many doctors and hospitals being recommended, but it’s difficult to know which surgeon truly provides both skilled treatment and good patient care. We’re hoping to find someone who takes time to explain the condition properly, discusses all possible treatment options, and makes patients feel comfortable during such a stressful period. If anyone here has personal experience with an oncology surgeon, I’d really appreciate hearing how the overall process was—from consultation and surgery to recovery and follow-up care. Any recommendations, advice, or things we should look out for while choosing a surgeon would mean a lot to us right now.
