I’m planning a short weekend trip and have been thinking about whether it makes sense to rent a Range Rover instead of going with a regular SUV. I’ve always liked the design and comfort of Range Rover vehicles, but I’ve never actually driven one before.

For those who have experience, how was it? Is the ride quality and overall experience really that different compared to other luxury SUVs? I’m mostly interested in comfort, road presence, and whether it’s practical for a short trip with a couple of friends and some luggage.
